Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of evnt.co, its related webpages, accounts, checkout, payment, ticketing, booking and customer-support services (together, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
The Platform is operated under the EVNT brand by LYVE, a business of LYVE Inc., registered in Lebanon (“EVNT”, “LYVE”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Lebanon is EVNT’s country of domicile.
Documents forming the agreement
Your use of the Platform and each booking are also subject to: (a) our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy; (b) the Event listing and information displayed at checkout; (c) our Refund, Cancellation and Exchange Policy contained in these Terms; and (d) any reasonable Event-, venue- or Organizer-specific conditions disclosed before purchase. If there is a conflict, the Event-specific conditions govern the delivery and participation requirements of that Event, while these Terms govern use of the Platform and the booking transaction. Any mandatory rights under applicable law prevail.
1. Our role
EVNT is an online discovery, booking and ticketing marketplace for activities, events and experiences, with a particular focus on children, parents, mothers and families.
An “Organizer” is the person or business that creates, supplies, hosts, promotes or is responsible for an Event. An “Event” includes an activity, class, camp, workshop, show, experience, session, venue admission or other bookable offering. A “Ticket” includes any digital ticket, booking confirmation, QR code, reservation or right of admission. A “Buyer” is the adult who makes a booking through the Platform.
Unless an Event page expressly identifies EVNT or LYVE as the Organizer, EVNT provides marketplace technology, payment facilitation, ticketing and booking support only. EVNT is not the Organizer, venue, instructor, childcare provider, travel provider or medical provider. The contract for the delivery of the Event is between the Buyer and the Organizer. The Organizer controls and is responsible for the Event, including its content, capacity, admission, programme, personnel, supervision, safeguarding, safety arrangements, accessibility, age rules, licences, insurance and Event-specific cancellation or refund terms.
We may review listings and Organizer information, but publication of an Event does not constitute an endorsement, certification or guarantee by EVNT. Users must make their own assessment of an Event’s suitability, safety, quality and accessibility.
2. Eligibility, parents and guardians
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account or make a purchase. The Platform is directed to adults. A child must not create an account, submit personal information or purchase a Ticket.
When booking for a child or another person, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that you are otherwise authorised to make the booking and accept the applicable Event rules on their behalf. You are responsible for checking age limits, adult-accompaniment and supervision requirements, health and skill requirements, clothing or equipment requirements, accessibility information and any waiver or consent requested by the Organizer.
EVNT does not assume custody, supervision or a duty of care for any child. Unless the Organizer expressly offers a supervised drop-off service, a responsible adult must remain present and supervise the child. Each Organizer remains responsible for the safeguarding measures required by applicable law.
3. Accounts and communications
You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep your login credentials confidential and secure. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless it results from our breach. You must promptly notify us at info@evnt.co if you suspect unauthorised access or use.
You may not sell, assign, license or otherwise permit another person to use your account. We may refuse registration, suspend an account, hold or cancel an order, or restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, misuse, a safety risk, a legal breach or a violation of these Terms. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the action and any available remedy.
We may send transactional communications by email, SMS, WhatsApp or another channel you provide, including confirmations, Tickets, receipts, reminders, material Event changes, security alerts and support messages. Marketing communications are subject to your consent choices and applicable law.
4. Event information and bookings
Event descriptions, images, schedules, locations, capacity, prices, inclusions, exclusions and restrictions are generally supplied by Organizers. Organizers are required to keep this information accurate, but errors and changes may occur. You must review the Event page, order details and your contact information before purchase and check for updates before attending.
Submitting an order is an offer to book. A binding booking is formed only when payment has been successfully authorised and EVNT issues a booking confirmation or Ticket. An item placed in a basket is not reserved until confirmation is issued. A pending payment is not a confirmed booking.
We may reject or cancel an order if an Event is unavailable, contains an obvious pricing or material listing error, exceeds a disclosed purchase limit, fails a payment, fraud or security check, or cannot lawfully be fulfilled. If we cancel after collecting payment, we will return the amount collected for the affected booking, subject to applicable law and the payment provider’s processing time.
We or an Organizer may impose per-person, per-account, household or transaction limits. Attempts to evade limits, use bots or automation, create duplicate accounts, manipulate availability or resell Tickets commercially may result in cancellation or refusal of admission.
5. Prices, currencies, fees and billing
The checkout page displays the Ticket price and any booking, service, payment, tax or other mandatory charge before you confirm the purchase. The price that applies is the price confirmed at checkout. Prices, availability, discounts and promotional offers may change before a booking is confirmed.
Transactions may be displayed or processed in USD, LBP, AED or another currency expressly shown at checkout. Your bank, card issuer or wallet provider may apply a currency conversion rate, cross-border fee or other charge that EVNT does not control.
You must provide accurate and current billing, payment and account information. You represent that you are legally authorised to use the selected payment method and agree to pay the total amount displayed at checkout.
Promotional codes have no cash value, may be limited by date, Event, account or quantity, may not be combined unless stated, and may be rejected or withdrawn if obtained or used improperly. Taxes are handled as displayed at checkout and as required by applicable law.
6. Payment processing and security
We accept Visa, Mastercard and any other cards, wallets or payment methods displayed at checkout. Payments are processed through authorised third-party payment-service providers, including MontyPay, and may be subject to the provider’s own terms, security checks and privacy practices.
By submitting a payment, you authorise the relevant provider to process the amount shown at checkout. EVNT does not store complete credit- or debit-card details. Card information is transmitted to and processed by the authorised payment provider through its secure payment environment.
EVNT does not sell, rent or lease personal information. Personal information may be shared only as described in our Privacy Policy, including with Organizers and service providers where necessary to process a booking, deliver an Event, prevent fraud, provide support or comply with law.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Cardholders should retain a copy of their booking confirmation, transaction record, applicable Event terms and these Terms for their records.
7. Digital ticket delivery
EVNT supplies digital booking services and does not ship physical goods under these Terms. Tickets and booking confirmations are normally delivered electronically to the email address, mobile number, account or other channel provided during checkout. Any delivery time shown is an estimate. Delivery may be affected by incorrect contact details, spam filtering, telecommunications failure, security review or third-party outages.
You must check your spam or junk folder and contact info@evnt.co promptly if a confirmed Ticket is not received. Failure to locate or download a Ticket does not automatically cancel a confirmed booking or create a refund right where the Ticket was made available or support could reasonably reissue it.
8. Tickets, admission and transfers
You must keep each Ticket and QR code secure. The first valid scan may be admitted. A copied, altered, counterfeit, previously scanned or fraudulently obtained Ticket may be refused or cancelled.
Admission is subject to the Event and venue rules, including identification, age, arrival time, dress, conduct, capacity, safety, health and prohibited-item rules. A Ticket does not override a lawful refusal of admission. If entry is refused because a Buyer or attendee did not comply with rules disclosed before purchase, arrived late, lacked required identification or behaved unlawfully or unsafely, no refund is due unless required by law or approved by the Organizer.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain or through an unauthorised channel. A Ticket may be transferred only if the Event permits it and any required name change is completed. EVNT is not responsible for Tickets purchased outside the Platform.
9. Refund, cancellation and exchange policy
9.1 Buyer cancellations
Unless the Event page, Organizer policy or applicable law expressly provides otherwise, confirmed Tickets are final, non-refundable and non-exchangeable because Event capacity is reserved for a specific date and time. Before paying, you must review the Event, date, time, venue, number of attendees, price and restrictions.
To request a cancellation, correction, refund or exchange, contact info@evnt.co with the booking reference, Buyer name and Event name. We may forward the request to the Organizer and administer the Organizer’s decision. EVNT cannot guarantee an exception to the policy disclosed before purchase.
If an Organizer approves a Buyer-requested cancellation, refund or exchange, it will be subject to the amount and conditions authorised by that Organizer and may exclude any booking, payment or service charge that was clearly disclosed, has already been earned for services supplied and is lawfully non-refundable.
9.2 Event cancellation, postponement or material change
An Organizer may make reasonable changes to an instructor, performer, programme, timetable, room or other non-essential detail. A minor change does not ordinarily create a refund right.
If an Event is postponed or materially changed, the Organizer will determine, subject to applicable law, whether Tickets remain valid for the new arrangements, may be exchanged, or qualify for a refund. EVNT will communicate the instructions supplied by the Organizer.
If an Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the Buyer will ordinarily be eligible for a refund of the Ticket’s face value and any other amount the Organizer authorises or applicable law requires. A booking, payment or delivery charge may be non-refundable only to the extent that it represents a service already supplied, was clearly disclosed before purchase and may lawfully be retained.
9.3 Refund method and timing
Approved refunds will be initiated to the original payment method where reasonably possible. EVNT will normally initiate an approved refund within 7 to 14 business days after approval and receipt of any information reasonably required to verify the Buyer, booking and payment method. The time for funds to appear after initiation is controlled by the bank, card issuer, wallet or payment provider and may vary.
Where the original method cannot receive a refund, or where payment was made through a cash or wallet channel, EVNT may require reasonable identity and account verification and may agree another lawful refund method.
Travel, accommodation, food, childcare, equipment and other indirect or consequential expenses are not refundable by EVNT. Nothing in this section limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
9.4 Chargebacks
You should contact info@evnt.co first so that we can investigate a disputed charge. We may provide the payment provider with the booking record, confirmation, Ticket-use data, communications and applicable terms to respond to an improper chargeback. This does not affect your legitimate rights concerning an unauthorised, duplicate or incorrectly processed payment.
10. Event participation, safety and wellbeing
Attendance and participation may involve ordinary or disclosed risks, particularly for sports, outdoor activities, workshops, play areas, camps and activities involving equipment, food or physical exertion. Attendees must follow Organizer and venue instructions and stop participating if conditions appear unsafe. Seek independent medical advice where suitability is uncertain.
Relevant allergies, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, medical conditions or support requirements should be communicated directly to the Organizer using a secure method requested by the Organizer. Event listings are not medical advice, and EVNT does not determine whether an Event is suitable for a particular attendee.
You remain responsible for personal belongings. Photography or recording may occur where disclosed by the Organizer. Consent or safeguarding concerns should be raised promptly with the Organizer and EVNT. EVNT may remove a listing or restrict an Organizer where credible safety or legal concerns arise, but this does not make EVNT the operator of the Event.
11. Acceptable use
You must not:
break any law, infringe another person’s rights, or provide false or misleading information;
use the Platform to harass, threaten, exploit or endanger any person, especially a child;
upload malware, probe security, scrape at scale, reverse engineer, disrupt the Platform or bypass access controls;
use bots or automated means to purchase Tickets, evade limits, or manipulate rankings or reviews;
copy, frame, commercially exploit or create a competing database from Platform content without permission;
sell counterfeit Tickets, misuse promotional codes, commit payment fraud or facilitate unauthorised resale; or
use the Platform or attempt a transaction where prohibited by applicable sanctions, trade-control or anti-money-laundering laws.
We may screen transactions, refuse service, suspend access, preserve relevant records and cooperate with competent authorities where permitted or required by law.
12. Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, image, comment or other content, you confirm that it is accurate, lawful, relevant and non-confidential, and that you own it or have permission to share it. You grant EVNT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content for operating and promoting the Platform and the relevant Event, until it is deleted where technically and legally possible.
We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms, but are not required to pre-screen all content. Views expressed by users and Organizers are their own.
13. Intellectual property
The Platform, software, design, branding and EVNT-created content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Platform for lawful discovery and booking. No ownership rights are transferred.
Organizer names, logos, images and listing content belong to their respective owners. To report suspected infringement, contact info@evnt.co and identify the protected work, the material concerned, your contact details and the basis of your good-faith claim.
14. Third-party services and links
The Platform may use or link to payment, wallet, mapping, messaging, analytics, hosting, social-media and other third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply independently. EVNT does not control and is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
15. Errors and corrections
The Platform may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions concerning an Event, price, promotion, availability, schedule or other detail. We may correct information and reject or cancel an affected order, including after submission or confirmation, where reasonably necessary. If we cancel a confirmed booking because of our or an Organizer’s material error, amounts collected for the affected booking will be returned.
16. Platform availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free or always-available access. Maintenance, internet or telecommunications failure, cyber incidents, force majeure and third-party outages may affect the Platform. We may change, suspend or discontinue features while continuing to honour confirmed bookings or providing a reasonable alternative where required.
17. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that every listing will be error-free or that an Organizer will deliver an Event to a particular subjective standard. The Organizer is responsible for Event delivery, premises, personnel, equipment, safeguarding, licences, insurance, accessibility and compliance applicable to it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded, or any mandatory consumer right.
Subject to the preceding paragraph, EVNT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, loss of profit, opportunity, data or enjoyment, travel or accommodation costs, or acts or omissions of an Organizer, venue, attendee or third-party provider outside our reasonable control. Where EVNT is legally liable in connection with a booking, EVNT’s aggregate liability will not exceed the total amount paid to EVNT for that booking, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate EVNT and its officers, employees and contractors for third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Platform, fraud, infringement of another person’s rights or material breach of these Terms. This does not apply to the extent that a claim was caused by EVNT’s own breach, negligence or misconduct.
19. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information. Completing an Event booking may require us to share Buyer and attendee information with the relevant Organizer. The Organizer may separately control personal information it collects directly. Adults must not enter unnecessary sensitive information about children into open-text fields.
20. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, fraud, safety risk, legal requirement or threat to the Platform. Termination does not erase accrued payment obligations, confirmed booking rights or provisions intended to survive, including intellectual property, liability, disputes and legally required records.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, operational or service changes. The current version and updated date will be published on this page. Material changes will apply prospectively and, where reasonably practicable or legally required, we will provide notice. The Terms in force when a booking was confirmed continue to govern that booking unless a change is required by law or expressly accepted by you.
22. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you reside.
Before filing a claim, please contact info@evnt.co and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute. Subject to any mandatory consumer jurisdiction, the competent courts of Lebanon have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief or contacting a competent consumer-protection or regulatory authority.
23. Force majeure
Neither EVNT nor an Organizer is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, conflict, civil disturbance, terrorism, government action, labour disruption, power failure, infrastructure failure or widespread communications failure. Affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event, but cancellation, rescheduling and refund rights remain governed by applicable law and Section 9 of these Terms.
24. General provisions
If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a restructuring, financing or sale, provided confirmed Buyer rights are not materially reduced.
These Terms and the documents incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement concerning your use of the Platform and replace prior communications on that subject. No ambiguity will automatically be interpreted against the party that drafted the wording. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency or joint venture between a user and EVNT. No third party may enforce these Terms except where applicable law provides otherwise.
